Eligibility
To obtain the Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate you must meet the following requirements:
- After a month of marriage, the bride or groom can apply for divorce.
- The groom must be 21 years of age, while the bride must be aged 18 years.
Documents Required
The following documents are required to apply for the Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate:
- Four passport-sized photographs of the bride and groom
- Birth certificates or marks sheets of groom and bride
- Marriage cards for marriage
- Three postcard-sized photographs that show the marriage ceremony
- If the delay exceeding 21 days, both the parties (bride/groom) must send a letter.
- If marriage is solemnized by a registered priest or Arya Samaaj, a document of a clergyman or an institute must be provided
- Information on two witnesses
- ID proof for the bride and groom
- The webcam captured the image
Online Application
The Madhya Pradesh State Government has launched an online application process. You can apply online using the following ways:
Step 1.Visit the homepage of e-Nagar Palika located in Madhya Pradesh.
Step 2Click"Citizen Service" on your homepage "Citizen Services" button on the homepage.
Step 3.Next Step 3: Click on "Marriage Registration", which will appear within the dropdown.
Fourth step: It will direct you on the marriage certificate instruction page where all the information required will be given. Then click on "Click here to apply".
5. Next, on the page click on "Select Your City" and select the correct city name.
The 6th Step:After receiving the online application, fill it up and upload the required documents.
The payment method will appear on the screen after you've completed your application. After successful payment the user will be emailed an acknowledgement number and receipt.
The receipt can be sent to the registered mobile and email. Next, the applicant should submit the payment receipt along with the documents required to the ward office.
